The spring Concert Bands are under the direction of Dr. Chip Birkner.  The Concert Bands are performing ensembles for University of Florida and Santa Fe Community College students.  They meet only during the spring semester and are comprised of music majors and non-music majors. The Monday concert band meets from 7:20 - 10:10 pm and the Tuesday/Thursday band meets from 1:55 - 3:50. The ensemble performs traditional symphonic band literature.  This is NOT an audition-based group.  Interested students should register for the class MUN 1120 and meet the first day for chair placement.
